To minimize the risk of contamination and to increase the level of hygiene in the OR, SIMEON has been offering the HighLine operating lights with Anti.BAC^® coating for several years. Now, the innovative antibacterial coating is also available for all powder-coated products including all operating lights, suspension arm systems, the examination lights, monitor holders, mobile stands and further products. The Anti.BAC® coating has the highest antimicrobial effect (log 5.9 for Escherichia Coli and log 4.29 for Staphylococcus aureus). The germ reduction is 99.99 percent. The coating is certified according to ISO 22196 (JIS Z 2801) and does not use any nano-silver or free silver ions, which are physiologically harmful.
